Network for Surviving Stalking is working with Protection Against Stalking and Suzy Lamplugh Trust to set up the first dedicated helpline for stalking victims in the UK. The recruitment process for the Helpline co-ordinator is underway. The advert reads,
“ This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in developing a national helpline service for victims of stalking and harassment. You will promote and operate a telephone line, email address, text messaging service and website to provide advice and guidance to those affected by these issues.
A self-starter with a desire to develop this project, you will have excellent listening and communication skills and an ability to empathise without becoming emotionally involved. You will have worked with vulnerable people and will ideally have experience of delivering a helpline or information service.”
